Poestenkill- Betty E. Rebhun, 93, of Grandview Drive died on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Community Hospice at Samaritan Hospital after a short illness. Born in Troy, Betty was the daughter of the late Thorlief and Mary Grund and wife of the late Joeseph H. Rebhun. Betty was raised in Troy and Rensselaer and had resided in Poestenkill for the past 63 years. Betty was a homemaker, enjoyed maintaining her yard and lawn and was an immaculate housekeeper. Betty and Joe had no children of their own but raised their niece Barbara from a young age as their own. Betty was a faithful fan of the Price is Right Show and she claimed to have never missed a show in over 40 years. Betty was predeceased by a brother and 3 sisters.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews including her niece and caregiver Barbara (David) McNiff of Averill Park, several grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service 11 a.m. on Wednesday June 15, 2016 at the Eagle Mills Cemetery Eagle Mills, NY.
