West Sand Lake- Desiree Bargy, 60, of Patricia Lane died on Thursday, November 26, 2015 after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy, Desiree was the daughter of the late Armand G. and M. Theresa Farrell Loiselle and the beloved wife for 40 years to Bruce W. Bargy. Desiree was a 1973 graduate of the Averill Park High School and had worked in the insurance industry for most of her working career where she had specialized in Commercial Lines. Desiree enjoyed bowling, was an avid NY Yankees and Giants fan.Desiree was the sister of the late Clifford M. (Lisa) Desautels and Daniel T. (Judy) Loiselle.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her son Bruce W. Bargy Jr., her twin sister Linnett E. (Joseph) Pozefsky of Colonie, her brothers James (Marie) Loiselle of Londonderry, NH and David B. Loiselle of Colonie, Godmother of David Chittenden and Joseph Golden, along with several nieces and nephews.
Desiree’s family wishes to thank the staff of Samaritan Hospital 6th floor, The Eddy Visiting Nurses, Northeast Visiting Physicians, Riverside Nursing & Rehab and the Community Hospice of Rensselaer Co. and a very special thanks to Joanne Sinkevich and Jennifer Wilcox for all their care and efforts in Desiree’s care at home.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park on Monday 4-7 p.m.
