Poestenkill- Ann Frances Frazzo, 85, of Plank Road passed into eternal life on Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness. Born in Rutland, VT, Ann was the daughter of the late Dominick and Marguerite Valente Pitaniello and wife of Michael Frazzo. Ann was raised in Troy and attended Catholic Central High School. She had moved to Poestenkill in 1958. Ann had worked at Tiny Townes, Montgomery Wards, Cluett and Peabody and retired in 1976 from Sterling Winthrop Drug Co. where she was a Medicine Examiner. Ann was a former member of the Poestenkill Hills Home Bureau, was a former communicant of St. Anthony’s Schrine Church, and enjoyed crossword puzzles and old movies. Ann was the sister of the late MaryJane Palage. Survivors in addition to her husband include her children Marjorie Ann Focarazzo of Rochester, NY, Kathy Ann (Vincent) Pascal of Spokane, WA. and Anthony Frazzo of Mystic, CT. along with 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, her nephews Michael Palage Jr. and Nicholas Palage.
Funeral Monday 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church 175 Williams Road, Troy, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park on Monday 9-10 am prior to the funeral service. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum Troy, NY. If desired donations in memory of Ann Frazzo may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis,TN 38100.
