Averill Park- On Saturday, June 24, 2017 another angel received her wings. Kristine A. LaBoissiere-Wagner, 52, of Bauer Road, was born in Troy N.Y. on September 20, 1964 and was the daughter of John R. LaBoissiere and the late Joan M. Ellis LaBoissiere. Kris was known for her free spirit and friendly, fun loving attitude with a great love for her family and friends. She loved her cats, her home on Taborton, bonfires, the natural word, with a great interest in the supernatural world as well. She showed great love for all people no matter the size, shape or circumstance. Kristine was kind and compassionate and just a joy to be around.
Kristine was the owner and operator of Shanteez where she practiced the art of hair design. She had great passion for her work and took great care of her clients with an exceptional pride in her designs.
Kristine is survived by her husband Steven G. Wagner whom she had a great love for and shared a life with for 28 years. She also leaves behind a brother in-law Alan (Monique)Wagner of Watervliet, and a sister in-law Janet Wagner of Rhode Island her father John LaBoissiere (Lisa) of Albany her brother John LaBoissiere II of Troy and her sister and her husband Terrie and Howie Goodspeed of Brunswick who she shared a special bond with for over 40 years. Aunt Kris has left behind several nieces, Lindsey (Robert) Facteau, Stephanie (Nicholas) Martinelli, Brittany George, Casey LaBoissiere and Emily Wagner and one nephew, John “Luca” LaBoissiere as well
as great nephews, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kristine will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  "There walks a lady we all know, who shines white light and wants to show, how everything still turns to gold….and she’s buying a staircase to heaven."
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28 at St. Henry’s Church 39 Old Rte. 66 Averill Park.
