Wildwood, Florida – Mary E. Carlson, 78, of Wildwood and a longtime resident of West Sand Lake, NY, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2021 following a long illness.
Mary was born on October 31, 1943 in Gloversville and was the daughter of the late Howard and Beverly Manzer Flint and wife of the late Robert E. Carlson for 54 years. Mary moved to Troy in 1963 and had resided in West Sand Lake from 1966-2006 before moving to Florida. Mary was a Sales Associate at the former Bonesteel’s Furniture in West Sand Lake and had volunteered for community organizations such as F.I.S.H. and Doors of Hope for many years.
Survivors include her children Theresa (Kenneth) Gile and Michele (John) Curtis both of Averill Park and Erich (Sharron) Carlson of West Sand Lake, her grandchildren; Alyson M. Gile, John V. Eddy of Tucson, AZ. and Mary Eddy of Queens Village, NY., her sister Marlene Brown of Middleburgh, NY., her sister-in-law Jeannie Carlson of Kansas City, MO. and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held in the Spring of 2022 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
