Averill Park- Allan R. Weaver, 64, of Bon Acre Way died on Friday, April 11, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Allan had been stricken ill at home on Sunday. Born in Hoosick Falls, Allan was the son of Merle Church Ramsey of Northport, Fla., and the late Richard Weaver and beloved husband of Linda Teal Weaver. Allan was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1967 graduate of Berlin High School. He retired in 2007 from Callanan Industries in Cropseyville where he had been an operating engineer. He had worked for Callanan for 29 years. Allen was a former Petersburgh town justice, a former member of the Black River Raiders and enjoyed, fishing, camping and hunting and spending time with his family. Allan was the father of the late Michael R. Weaver and son-in-law of the late Elmer and Doris Teal. Survivors, in addition to his mother and wife, include his son, Matthew (Megan) Weaver of Averill Park; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Weaver of Averill Park; a sister, Ilene (Edward) Bly of Virginia; stepfather, James Ramsey; a grandson, Joshua Weaver; granddaughters, Marisa, Brianna and Sara Weaver and a great-granddaughter, Mehalia Clow. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake, Averill Park on Tuesday, April 15, from 4 to 7p.m. If desired, the family suggest donations in memory of Allan R. Weaver may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, Pine West Plaza Building 2, Suite 204 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12205 or St. Peter's Hospital CCU, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
