Amanda M. Richards

Brunswick-Amanda M. Richards, 50, of Bott Lane passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at her residence. Born in Troy, Amanda was the daughter of Marianne Ryan Richards of Grafton and the late Donald L. Richards Jr. Amanda grew up in the Taborton area of Sand Lake and was a graduate of the Averill Park High School class of 1992. Amanda graduated in 1997 from HVCC with an Associates degree in Nursing. Amanda enjoyed baking and cooking along with tending to her beautiful flower gardens, which gave her much joy and satisfaction. Amanda had been volunteering at the Peace Pagoda and was working on their annual flower festival. Amanda was working at Babbas Pizza in Albany where she was the dough maker for the pizza shops.

Amanda was the mother of the late Linzee Rose Cushing.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her daughter Harleyanne Richards of Brunswick, her longtime companion Michael Winters of Brunswick, her brothers Jason (Mary) Richards of Schodack and Michael Richards of Grafton and her sister Rachel Richards of No. Greenbush.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call 4-6:30 pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park followed by a Memorial Service at 6:30.
