Audna Dunham Craver

Poestenkill- Audna Dunham Craver, 98, of Main Street died on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness. Born in Brunswick, Audna was the daughter of the late Leslie and Hazel Miller Dunham and wife of the late Lloyd “ Doc” Craver. Audna had resided in Poestenkill most of her life and attended the Poestenkill Elementary School and was a 1934 graduate of Troy High. She had worked at the former Faith Mills in Averill Park before working for the NYS Dept of Education in Albany retiring in 1977. Audna was a lifelong member of the Poestenkill Church of Disciples, Past District Deputy President of the Pleasant Valley Rebekah Lodge # 212 where she was a member for 79 years, the Poestenkill Seniors and a Life Member of the Poestenkill Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Audna was the sister of the late Howard and Donald Dunham and mother in law of the late Robert Bubie. Survivors include her daughters Joyce (Charles) Dickinson of Poestenkill and Patricia Maloney of New York City, her grandsons Richard (Jeanne) Bubie and Roger (Jennifer) Bubie both of Poestenkill and her great grandchildren Elizabeth, Alexander, Victoria and Dylan Bubie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services Monday 11 a.m. at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Funeral Chapel on Sunday 3-6 p.m. Interment Eagle Mills Cemetery. If desired the family suggests donations in memory of Audna D.
