Brenda L. Geerholt

Berlin- Brenda L. Geerholt, 64, of Bly Hollow Rd, passed away on January 31, 2026 at her residence, with her loving family by her side. 

Born in St. Petersburgh FL on April 21, 1961, Brenda was the daughter of George Hamm and Bertha Starbird. Brenda grew up in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where she was a proud member of the Girls Guard. She later moved to Berlin where she resided for 46 years. She married her husband, Gary, on July 21, 1990. They were married for 36 years. Brenda loved animals of all kind. She leaves behind her beloved bulldog, Dixie, who had a very special attachment to Brenda. She will also be remembered for her Tupperware sales. Brenda devoted part of her life to selling Tupperware, and relished supplying Tupperware to all. Most of all, Brenda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Brenda is predeceased by her father George Hamm; and brothers, David King, and Ralph Hamm.

She is survived by her mother, Bertha Starbird (Bob) of Dade City FL; husband Gary Geerholt, of Berlin NY; daughter Shannon Morgan (Haley) of Grafton NY; sisters Beverly Decker, of Troy NY, Judy Miller, of Pittsfield MA, and Tina Wood (Rick) of Dade City FL; and grandchildren Jason, Garret, and Lydia Morgan.

The family would like to give special thanks to Cori and Rachel for the exceptional care they provided for Brenda over the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 4:00pm-6:45pm at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY-43, Averill Park, NY 12018. A service will follow at 7:00pm.
