Albany - Brittani Noel Peters, 25, of South Allen Street died suddenly at her residence on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Born in Albany, Brittani was the daughter of Joseph F. (Elisa) Peters and Pamela DuVal (Tracy) Finnerty. Brittani had resided in Averill Park early in her life and had attended school there and at Monroe – Woodbury. She had resided in Sullivan County before moving back to the area in 2013 and had resided in Albany for the past year. Brittani had worked at the Campus Subway on Western Ave. and most recently at the Rainbow Store.
Survivors in addition to her mother and father include her children, Kaelen N. Peters and Noah J. Peters, her sisters Amber DuVal and Tiffany Peters, and her brother Matthew Finnerty. Brittani was the granddaughter of Nancy DuVal and the late Charles Shadick, Nancy (Leonard) Lewis, the late Joseph R. Peters and Clara Peters. She is also survived by step-brothers and step-sister, nieces and nephews, and many loving relatives.
A remembrance service will be held on Wednesday April 22 at 1 pm on the Methodist Farm on Crooked Lake, 100 Methodist Farm Rd., Averill Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Methodist Farm Playground Fund, PO Box 645, Averill Park, NY 12018.
