Charlotte A. Winn

Averill Park- Charlotte A. Winn, 83, of Oak Hill Road, wife of Gerald E. “Gary” Winn passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Sand Lake, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth Smith Kimmey. Charlotte was a graduate of the Averill Park High School and a lifelong member of the Zion’s UCC Taborton. Charlotte was a secretary at the Sterling Winthrop Drug Company 1974-1993 and then worked for the Averill Park School District where she was a cafeteria monitor and was a Special Education Teachers Aide.

Charlotte was the mother of the late Arthur J. Densmore and Steven W. Densmore.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her son Joseph P. Densmore of Averill Park her brothers Richard A. (Nancy) Kimmey and Harold E. Kimmey both of Averill Park along with 6 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren.

Services will be private.
