Albany- Christopher T. Lawton, 34, died suddenly on Tuesday February 4, 2014. He was found by his beloved mother Alice Lawton at their residence at Quincy St. in Albany. Christopher was born in Albany and at the time of his death was working for Latham Pool Products Inc. (formerly Pacific Pools) where he was a molding mechanic for the past 3 years. His co- workers said that he was a tremendous worker. Prior to working for Latham Pool, Chris had been a cook at the Chiefs Diner in Taconic for 10 years. Christopher attended East Greenbush and New Lebanon Schools, Columbia Greene Community College and ITT Tech in Albany where he studied Architecture. Christopher was the grandson of the late Frank and Harriet Hatch Lawton, his aunts Gail Lawton and Joyce Bingham and his uncle Leon Lawton. Christopher leaves behind his beloved son Patrick McLaughlin and Patrick’s mother Heather McLaughlin of New Lebanon and his step daughter Lexi McLaughlin, his beloved mother Alice Lawton of Albany, his uncles George Lawton of Burnt Hills, Kevin Lawton of Albany, Charles (Tiny) Bingham of East Nassau, his aunt Maria Lawton of North Greenbush, his cousins Lisa, Chuck Bingham, George (Angela) Lawton, Leon (Rhonda) Lawton, Cierra and Kevin Lawton and Ralph Lazala. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park on Saturday 11 am – 2pm followed by a service at 2 pm. Spring interment Flatbrook Cemetery, Canaan, NY. If desired donations in memory of Christopher T.
