Poestenkill- Donald H. Moquin, 91, of Davis Drive died on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at his home after a long illness. Born in Ausable Forks, NY Don was the son of the late Clarence and Marion Whisher Moquin and husband for 65 years to Helen Razanousky Moquin. Donald grew up in Ausable Forks and then had resided in Watervliet and Green Island before moving to Poestenkill after his marriage. Don was a self – employed carpenter most of his life.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his daughters Linda Gre of Troy and Lori (Michael) Hawkins of Cleveland, GA, a brother Robert (Theresa) Moquin of Watervliet, a sister Anne Miner of AZ, and 7 grandchildren.
Donald family wishes to thank the staff of the Community Hospice for the care and compassion given to Don and his family during his final days.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
