Poestenkill- Edna P. Pettis, 82, a longtime resident of East Poestenkill and Keystone Heights, Fla. passed away on Friday November 7, 2025 at the home of her granddaughter in Troy after a long illness. Born in Middleburgh, NY and raised in East Poestenkill, Edna was the daughter of the late Joseph Hall and Edna Kaiser Hall Church. Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. Edna enjoyed time spent at Crowne Point, NY where she camped and did her share of fishing.
Edna was the mother of the late William Pettis and sister of the late Richard, Robert, George, Thomas and David Hall, Sarah Church and Joan Chamberlain.
Survivors include her devoted children Ellen Dingley of Watervliet, Stephen Greek of Stephentown, Stanley Hall of Troy, Jacqueline Greek of Rensselaer, Tyrone Hall of Stephentown and Mary Anne Hall of Schuylerville, NY, her sister Dorothy Dodge of East Poestenkill and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call 10-11 am on Friday November 14, 2025 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 Averill Park followed by a service at 11 am.
Interment will follow at the Woodside Cemetery East Poestenkill.
