Elaine A. Fairall

Valatie- Elaine A. Fairall, 73, of the Paul Raihofer Senior Housing, died on Monday, October 1, 2019 at the Albany Medical Center after being stricken at home. Born in Albany, Elaine was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Alice McGrisken Malloy. She grew up in Averill Park and was a 1964 graduate of the Averill Park High School. Elaine attended HVCC and had resided in Columbia County since 1968. Elaine was a self-employed gardener and enjoyed acting, traveling and singing. She attended St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church in Spencertown and had been a part of the church choir.
Survivors include her children Michael Fairall of Austerlitz and Alexis (Whitney) McDonald of Canaan, her brother Thomas (Karen) Malloy of Averill Park and her sister Ann Krupa of Porters Corners along with 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
