Poestenkill- Eleanor J. Troskowski Bubie, 85, of Bubie Way, died on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy after an extended illness. Born in Albany Eleanor was the daughter of the late Lester and Agnes Zimmerman Edwards and wife of the late Raymond C. Bubie. Eleanor grew up in the Nassau are was a resident of East Nassau before moving to Poestenkill in 1975. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, Baking and ceramics. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Poestenkill and the Poestenkill Seniors.
Survivors include her sons David (Beverly) Troskowski, Alan (Tammy) Troskowski and James (Maria) Troskowski all of East Nassau, her step children Barbara (Paul) Dzembo, Charles (Sue) Bubie, John (Kathy) Bubie and Eva Grace Bubie all of Poestenkill her feline companions Cinnamon and Babe and 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
Funeral 11 a.m. on Friday, July 14 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park
Relatives and friends are invited and may also call 9-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral chapel on Friday.
Interment Brookside Cemetery, Barbersville.
