Poestenkill- Eugene E. Arnold, 73, of Oak Hill Road, died on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a short illness. Born in Troy and a lifelong resident of Oak Hill Road, Gene was the son of the late Ernest and Marie Arnold. Gene attended the Averill Park Schools and then worked for GLF in Albany. Gene helped run the family farm and enjoyed the company of the animals especially his cats. Gene was a lifelong member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Gene was the brother of the late Dorothy and Allen G. Arnold.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service 1 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake, Averill Park.
Spring Interment Brookside Cemetery, Barberville.
