East Nassau- Frances J. Brock, 90, of Rte. 66, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Whittier Nursing Home in Ghent after a brief illness. Born in Troy, Fran was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Evelyn I. Castle Beehm Sr. and wife of the late Walter F. Brock. Fran grew up in Poestenkill attended Troy High and had resided in East Nassau since 1958. Fran was a homemaker most of her life but had worked for Duffers in Poestenkill for a short time where she was a fabricator. Fran was a member of the West Stephentown Baptist Church, the Sand Lake Seniors, Interlochen Lodge # 92 0f the Rebekah’s and a social member of the Hoag’s Corners Fire Co. Fran was a former 4-H leader and helped with Cub Scouts.
Fran was the mother of Marie L. Hogle of Smyrna, DE and Michael A. Brock of East Nassau, sister of Joseph A. (Elaine) Beehm of Poestenkill, the late George (Marie) Beehm and Edmond (Shirley) Beehm Jr. of Schenectady, grandmother of Daniel (Kristina) Hogle, Dustin (Jessica) Hogle and Rachael White. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be private with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery, West Sand Lake.
