Wynantskill- Georgiana M. Proctor, 84, of Hillcrest Ave. died on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Samaritan Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Troy and a lifelong resident of Wynantskill, Georgiana was the daughter of the late George Wilday and Irene Duepree Beaudoin, stepdaughter of the late Oliver Beaudoin and the beloved wife of Lloyd D. Proctor Jr. Georgiana had retired in 2012 from the RPI cafeteria where she was a receptionist cashier. She enjoyed crocheting, garage sales, flea markets, yard sales and camping at Alpine Lake.
Georgiana was wife of the late Olin D. DeWitt, mother of the late Olin D. DeWitt Jr., James D. DeWitt and Tina DeWitt DiNova, sister of the late Eileen Hearn and Doris Dubrey.
Survivors in addition to her husband of 51 years include her children Tammy L. (Lester III) Douglas of Troy, Georgett (John) Neeld of Orange Park, Fla. Cathy (David Fredericks) Lemner of Poestenkill and Lloyd D. (Christa) Proctor III, sister of Oliver (Gail) Beaudoin Jr. of Fla along with 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call 4-7 on Tuesday, January 19 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park.
Funeral Service private for the family.
