Stephentown- Glenn A. Rathbun, 66, of Williams Road, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Pittsfield, MA. Glenn was the son of the late Ashley and Frances Felber Rathbun and husband of Cathleen Seifridsberger Rathbun. Glenn was a lifelong resident of Stephentown and was a 1973 graduate of the Averill Park High School. Glenn received his Associates Degree in Automotive Technology from HVCC and had a 22-year career at Ceramaseal in Lebanon. For 21 of those years, he was a Quality Inspector. For 14 years, Glenn had been a Quality Assurance Inspector for Ducommun in Coxsackie. He had retired in April of 2020 due to his illness.  Glenn was a member of the West Stephentown Baptist Church and a former trustee, a life member of the NRA and a former member of the Rensselaer Coon & Fox Club.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his daughters Sabrina (Triston) Banton of Sanford, ME and Elizabeth (Andrew) Nasman of New Ashford, MA. His sister Gail A. (Andrew) Welkley of No. Greenbush, his grandchildren Amelia Paige and Sophia Olivia Banton and Freya Rose Nasman a niece and 4 nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 2-3 pm on Sunday, October 10 at the West Stephentown Baptist Church 1672 NY 43 West Stephentown followed by a funeral service at 3pm.
Burial will be private for the family in the Hillside Cemetery West Stephentown.
The family requests donations in memory of Glenn be made to the Capital City Rescue Mission 259 So. Pearl St. Albany, NY 12202.
