Harry Matthew Houser IV

Averill Park- Harry Matthew Houser IV, 53, of Clearview Road died suddenly at his residence on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Born in Troy, Harry was the son of Joyce Crandall Houser of VA, and the late Harry M. Houser III and was the husband of Darcy Herman Houser for 19 years. Harry was raised in Averill Park and was a 1988 graduate of the Averill Park High School. Harry’s passions were cooking and golf. He worked for over 25 years at the Lakeview at Crystal Lake feeding the town with his yummy soups. He was also a member of the Burden Lake Country Club.

Survivors in addition to his mother and wife include a son Harry M. Houser V of Clifton Park his brothers Jason (Keri) and Nathan Houser both of VA, 2 nephews and his devoted canine Sampson. The late Buster was also a faithful companion to Harry, his dogs were his life.

A time for a visitation and remembering Harry will be 4-6 pm on Monday, December 11 at the Lakeview in Averill Park Center.
