North Greenbush- James S. Murray, 74, of Oberlook Ave. died at his residence on Thursday September 18, 2014 after a brief illness. Born and raised in Troy Jim was the son of the late John J. and Mary Drosky Murray and the husband of Anita Sadow Murray. Jim was a 1959 graduate of Troy High School and had resided in Troy and Cohoes and had been a resident of North Greenbush for the past 25 years. In 2003 Jim had retired from the NYS Dept. of Labor after 36 years and had been an Archives Clerk. Jim was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church and enjoyed classic cars. Jim was the brother of the late John and William Murray. Survivors addition to his wife include his children Nadine Insero of Latham and his son Stephen (Tara Schneider) Murray of Troy, his sisters Marie Austin of Manheim, PA; Carolyn Polaski of Troy and Bernadette Signor of St. Augustine, FL; his grandchildren Amanda and Alexis Insero.
