Sand Lake- Jeffery McFee, 70, of Walk Road, died on Saturday April 20, 2013 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital after a long illness. Born in Troy, Jeff was the son of the late Elnathan and Catholene Honsinger McFee and the husband of Barbara Parsons McFee. Jeff was a lifelong resident of Sand Lake. Jeff was a roofer starting with his brother at Schuyler Construction and then started his own roofing business in 1984. Jeff was known for his excellent reputation and honesty. Jeff enjoyed bowling and had played on bowling leagues over the years.Jeff was the brother of the late Anna Mae Gazaw, David McFee, Velma Dobert and Oswald "Jimmy" McFee. Survivors in addition to his wife include his daughter Patricia Anne McFee of Rensselaer, his sisters Delores Williams of Snyders Lake, Alice Reineger of West Sand Lake, his brother Elnathan McFee Jr. of Averill Park, his granddaughters Amanda Marie Stenowich of Troy and Heather Ashley Becker of Rochester and his great grandson Jameson Nichols. Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park on Wednesday 4-7pm. The family requests donations in memory of Jeffery McFee be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Ave Menands, NY 12204.
