John C. St. Germain

Averill Park- John C. “Hub” St. Germain 73, of Eastern Union Turnpike passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 in the comfort of his home surrounded by family and friends after a long illness. Born in Somerset, MA. John was the son of the late J. Armand and Marie Deschenes St. Germain. The family moved to the Averill Park area in 1949 and John attended the Averill Park Schools. Most of John’s working career was spent at Albany Mack Services and at the time of his retirement in 1996 he had been the service manager for a number of years. John had at one time ran his own body shop in Wynantskill. John had helped area racecar teams including his son. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed his social time with his friends.
John was the brother of the late Armand and Paul
Survivors include his wife the former Rita Ottman, his children John (Maribeth) St. Germain Jr. of West Sand Lake, Kimberly  St. Germain of Stephentown and his step son Dennis Tremont Jr. of Averill Park, his brothers Robert (Marylou) of Naples, Fla., his twin Peter (Anna) of Brunswick and Michael  (Gail) of Sand Lake, his sister Joseline (John) Ronesi of Waterford and his grandchildren, Jake, Andrew and Caitlyn.
At John’s request there will be a celebration of his life at his home on Saturday August 29, 2015 from 2-5 p.m.
