Albany- Joyce L. Noppa Mason, 93, of St. Vincent’s Apartments peacefully passed from this life on Thursday, May, 27, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Albany, Joyce was the daughter of the late Frederick and Edith Steele Bahret. She had retired from the NYS Senate where she was an Executive Secretary. She had resided on Burden Lake in Averill Park for several years before moving to Albany.
Joyce was the wife of the late W.Raymond Noppa and Ronald A. Mason.
Survivors include her children Raymond V. Noppa of Oregon, Deborah J. (Donald Whitler of TX, Kaaren P. (Edward) O’Brien of Averill Park and John D. (Carolyn) Noppa of New York, her sister Norma Fagnant of North Greenbush, grandsons Joshua H. (Amy) Whitler of MA, Andrew H. Whitler of TX and great grandson Josiah Dae Lunde Whitler and her feline companion April.
