Kenneth M. Swart

East Nassau- Kenneth M. Swart, 59, of Hoags Corners Road, passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Born in Albany, Kenneth was the son of the late Millard and Dorothy Fuller Swart and the beloved husband of Laurie D. Meissner Swart. Ken grew up in North Greenbush and attended the Averill Park Schools. He had resided in East Nassau since 2006 and he had spent most of his life as a mechanic. Ken had worked for M&D Equipment and TNT Body Sales and had been with Pengate Handling Systems in Albany at the time of his passing.

Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and working in his garage along with being “grandpa” and “papa” to his grandsons.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his son Kenneth Swart (Syeida Williams) of East Nassau, his daughter Jessica Swart (Clifford Massara) of East Nassau, his sister Melody Swart of Michigan, grandsons Camron Swart and Domonic Massara, nieces and nephew Kelly, Joshua and Katelynn (John).

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Kenneth’s life 1-4 pm on Saturday, August 23 at the Life in Christ Fellowship Church 5 North Nassau Road Averill Park. A service will be conducted at 3:30 pm.
