Lewis & Agnes Buck

North Greenbush- Lewis Raymond Buck, 92, of Van Rensselaer Manor died peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Lewis has joined his wife Agnes “Betty” Buck, who died on January 28, 2014 at the age of 87. Lewis and Betty were former longtime residents of Madison Ave. in Troy. Lewis served in the Marine Corp during WW II as an intelligence scout. After serving his country he worked as a fuel carrier first with Sousa Distributors and then as an independent carrier until his retirement. Betty was retired from the office of Dr. Phillips, DDS where she had been a receptionist. Lewis and Betty enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. After 69 years of marriage Lewis and Betty were laid to rest together at the Saratoga National Cemetery. They will be greatly missed by all who knew them.
