Lloyd D. Proctor Jr.

Wynantskill- Cream of the crop, salt of the earth, shy, naive and innocent Lloyd D. Proctor Jr. passed away suddenly on May 23, 2023 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his children. He was one day from his 74^th birthday. Born in Cohoes, Lloyd was the son of the late Lloyd D. Proctor Sr. and the late Lillian Murray Proctor and the beloved husband of the late Georgiana Wilday Proctor. Lloyd grew up in Poestenkill and was a 1967 graduate of the Averill Park High School. His working career found him driving truck for area trucking companies including Ashline Trucking in Watervliet. He had his own business for a time, All Week Movers, then driving bus for CDTA before retiring from Safe Flight Auto Glass. Lloyd was a Certified Scuba Diver and worked with area Law Enforcement doing recoveries in area waterways.

Lloyd was the father of Tammy (Lester III) Douglas of Pleasantdale, Georgett (John) Neeld of Orange Park, FL., Cathy (David Fredericks) Lemner of Poestenkill, Lloyd (Christa) Proctor III of Gulf Breeze, FL. and the late Olin DeWitt, Tina DeWitt DiNovo and James DeWitt. Lloyd was the grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited 5-8 pm on Friday, May 26, 2023 to Lloyd’s home 9 Hillcrest Ave. Wynantskill to share in celebrating in his life.
