Pleasantdale- Loren Lee Yerden, 61, beloved husband of Kathleen Russo Yerden passed into peace on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy and raised in East Poestenkill, he is the son of Donna Catlin Yerden and the late Kenneth Elwin Yerden. Loren was a graduate of Averill Park High School and Local 7, Plumbers & Steamfitters Apprenticeship Program. Throughout his 40+ year career, he worked for various local Mechanical Contractors. He enjoyed camping, skiing and hunting with his family. Over the past several years, he taught his grandchildren to ski. In addition to his wife, survivors include his sons Drew Martin Yerden and Austin Lee (Xiaoyi) Yerden. He was predeceased by his son, Tyler Lee Yerden. Loren is the brother to Dawn Dean, Sonya (late Kevin) DiGirolamo and the late Kevin Yerden. He was the proud grandfather (Opa) to Meyah Lenora and Wyatt Lee Yerden and Yulan Yerden. Additionally, he is survived by several aunts, uncles, sisters and brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is also survived by his father-in-law and friend, Paul A. Russo (Robin). The family wishes to thank Dr. Mackenzie Evangelist, the NYOH staff, Dr. Thomas Fabian and staff, along with Community Hospice for their care and support of Loren and his family.
