New Baltimore, NY- Lucy E. Herman, 89, of Tower Road Ext. and a longtime resident of Sand Lake died on Saturday March 2, 2013 at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Grafton, Lucy was the daughter of the late Lorenzo Green and Elvira Coonradt Cohen and wife of the late Fred W. Herman. Lucy was a homemaker and had resided on Taborton Road in Sand Lake for 48 years moving to the Brookside Senior Housing in 1994 and then to New Baltimore in 2006 to reside with her granddaughter. Lucy was the sister of the late Naomi Esposito.
Survivors include her daughters Marie (David) Hebert and June (Thomas) Satterwhite both of Glenmont, her brothers John Green of Watervliet and David Cohen of Troy, 5 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Service Wednesday 11:30 a.m. at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park.Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral chapel on Wednesday 11- 11:30 prior to the service.
