Castleton- Madeline L. “Midgie” VanBuren 55, of the Riverside Nursing Center died on Sunday October 27, 2013. Born in Troy, Midgie was the daughter of Madeline House VanBuren of No. Greenbush and the late Neil VanBuren Sr. Midgie was a lifelong resident of the area. Survivors in addition to her mother include her sisters Rebecca Cushing and Sandra DiBello of Averill Park, Nancy Kehn of East Chatham and Heidi Pontari of Troy, her brother Neil W. Van Buren Jr. of Averill Park and several nieces and nephews. Midgie’s family would like to thank the staff on the South Unit at Riverside Center for the care given over the past several months.
