Troy- Margaret V. “Ginny” Brunswick, 97, of the Eddy Heritage House a longtime resident of Tsatsawassa Lake Road, East Nassau passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. Born and raised in Albany, Ginny was the daughter of the late Harold and Lillian Sweeney Legg and wife of the late Jack T. Brunswick. Ginny had resided on Tsatsawassa Lake Road from 1981- 2015 when she moved to the Heritage House. Ginny worked for NY Telephone for 41 years and when she retired was a supervisor in Menands. She was a communicant of St. Henrys Church in Averill Park, a member of the Telephone Pioneers and enjoyed traveling with her sisters along with cruising and playing at the casinos. She had many memorable days in the Adirondacks with her husband. Ginny’s most precious days were spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors includer her daughter Cynthia (Timothy) Conway of Wynantskill, her son John Brunswick of Stephentown and her grandchildren Christopher Conway and Janine Brunswick.
Ginny was the last of 9 siblings that included the late Jeanne Ristau, Marion Strokes, Patricia Coumbs, Richard Legg, Barbara Rosenberger, Harold Legg, Jr., Carol Bagley and Alan T. Legg.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 10 – 11 am on Tuesday, January 9, 2023 at St. Henry’s Church 39 Old Rte. 66 Averill Park followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am with interment in St. Henry’s Cemetery following the Mass.
