Poestenkill- Marjorie “Gail” Avery, 87, of Tymeson Road, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the home of her son after a short illness. Born in Troy, Gail was the daughter of the late John and Marjorie Aurelius Tymeson. Gail was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of the Averill Park High School. Gail worked for a number of years for Suburban Propane where she was a bookkeeper accountant. She had previously worked for Allied Tec Gas and New York Telephone. Gail loved her house, gardening and spoiling the grandchildren. She attended the Church of the Covenant in Averill Park and the Salem United Methodist Church in West Sand Lake.
Gail was the mother of Andrew Avery of East Greenbush and the late Richard Avery, sister of Marilyn Gibbs of No. Greenbush and the late Joan Mills, Lois Multunas, Caryll Wilkins and John J. “Jerry” Tymeson. Gail was the grandmother of Maghan (Nicholas) Nuzzolilo and Andrea Avery and great grandmother to Makenzie Oliver.
