Troy- Mark P. Radz, 66, of Second Ave. Troy died on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Grande Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell in Valatie after a long illness. Born in Troy Mark was the son of Clare Leavenworth Radz of Plattsburgh and the late Donald W. Radz. Mark grew up in the Averill Park area, was a 1973 graduate of the Averill Park High School and was a graduate of HVCC. Mark worked for Yonder Farms for many years and was an avid outdoorsman. He took his love for the outdoors and started Hook & Horn Taxidermy in Rensselaer. He had written articles in the Troy Record outdoors page in 2004 & 2005 and had written articles for the Conservationist and Fish & Game along with other outdoor magazines
Survivors in addition to his mother include his son Phillip A. Radz of Averill Park, sisters Linda S. (Mike) Herring of Plattsburgh and Donna M. Radz of Troy. Mark was the brother of the late Jeffrey S. Radz.
Graveside Service 2 pm Tuesday, August 3 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Wynantskill.
