Mary E. Mortimer

East Greenbush-Mary E. Mortimer 87, of Hawthorne Ridge passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 8, 2026 after a brief illness. Born in Buffalo, Mary was the daughter of the late John P. and Ina Sparks Mortimer. Mary lived in Denver Colorado for a number of years and worked for the Gates Corp. She then moved to Vancouver, WA. where she resided for a number of years working in a prosecutor’s office. In 2024 Mary moved to Poestenkill and resided with her late brother Warren G. Mortimer for a short time before moving to Hawthorne Ridge.

Survivors include her nephews Gary Mortimer of Eustis, FL, Wayne Mortimer of Averill Park and Brian Mortimer of Brunswick, her niece Gail Mortimer of Wyoming, NY.

A private service will be held with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Wynantskill, NY.
