Averill Park- Michael A. Caldwell, 65, of Burden Lake Road died suddenly at his residence on Saturday, July 11, 2020 after being stricken ill. Born in Troy, Michael was the son of the late Everett and Frances Palmer Caldwell and husband of Diane Meissner Caldwell. Michael was a lifelong resident of the area, was a graduate of the Averill Park High School and was a former member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church. Michael worked mechanic jobs before working for Goldstein Subaru for almost 4 decades. He had recently retired and was their Assistant Parts Manager at the time of his retirement. Michael was a former member of the Averill Park – Sand Lake Fire Dept. and the Nassau Sportsman Club. Mike enjoyed motorcycles and mechanical work.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children David (Jennifer) Caldwell of East Greenbush, Casey (Michael Morris) Caldwell of East Greenbush, Justin (Leah) Caldwell of Averill Park and Toni Caldwell of Rensselaer, his brothers Dennis Caldwell of New York, Keith and Kevin Caldwell both of Colorado, his grandchildren Dylan and Blayke Caldwell, Brandon and Hannah Morris and Tyler Connolly.
Services will be private.
