Nancy A. Bubie

Clifton Park- Nancy A. Bubie, 65, of Oak Brook Commons, died on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany after a brief illness. Born in Schenectady, Nancy was the daughter of the late Carmen and Lucille Santora Isabella and the beloved wife for nearly 25 years to Marvin W. Bubie. Nancy was a graduate of the Scotia – Glenville High School and had retired in the late 1990’s from New York Telephone now Verizon after a long career as a Customer Representative. Nancy had lived in Pennsylvania and in Averill Park for 10 years before recently moving to Clifton Park. Nancy was a member of the Zion’s United Church of Christ in Taborton and a former member of the Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed Traveling, and baking and had made baked goods for Hospice Volunteers for a number of years.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her brother Carmen (Joanne) Isabella of Ballston Spa, her sisters Barbara (William) Peek of Clifton Park, Katherine (Michael) Schmidt of Colorado Springs, CO., Luann (the late Robert) Silvestri of Westerly, RI, and Laurie (Andrew) Bocca of Clifton Park, her enduring friend of 46 years Charlene Cooper of Poestenkill and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
