Nancy Jane Coonradt

Troy- Nancy Jane Coonradt, 80, of Hutton Street, and a longtime resident of Rte. 66, East Nassau, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at her residence with her children at her side. Born and raised in Troy, Nancy was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bernice Yocus Blanchet and wife of the late Hilton F. Coonradt Sr. Nancy resided in East Nassau with her family for many years and had moved back to Troy in 2016 to live with her son. Nancy had worked in the Deli Department of the Price Chopper in the Hudson Valley Plaza before her retirement. While in East Nassau, Nancy was a member of the Hoags Corners Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed Bingo, Bowling, Miniature Golf and being a part of her children’s and grandchildren’s lives.

Nancy was the step daughter of the late Margaret McCormick Blanchet and Josephine Wood Blanchet who were both a big part of Nancy’s life, and sister of the late Kevin Blanchet.

Survivors include her children Nancy Coonradt and Hilton Coonradt Jr. both of Troy and Aaron Coonradt of Sand Lake along with  grandchildren Grace Suzanne Coonradt, Benjamin Thomas Coonradt, Lucas Hilton Coonradt and Christel May Rousselle, and her sister Penelope Ann Kehn of Melbourne, FL.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call 1-3:30 on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park with a Service to follow at 3:30.

A burial service will be held 11 am on Monday, January 30 at St. Jean de Baptiste Cemetery, Spring Ave, Troy, NY. At the same time a burial service for Nancy’s father will be done with Naval honors.
