Wynantskill – Olin D. DeWitt Jr. 57, of Hillcrest Ave. died suddenly on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born in Troy Olin was the son of Georgianna Wilday Proctor of Wynantskill and the late Olin D. DeWitt Sr. Olin was a lifelong resident of Wynantskill and was a 1974 graduate of the Troy High School. Olie had worked on the assembly line at Gardenway for a number of years and more recently had worked in the same capacity at Comfortex. Olie enjoyed bowling and had bowled at Hi-Way Recreation for many years and had been a member of various leagues. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Olin was the brother of the late Tina Denova. Survivors in addition to his mother include his step father Lloyd D. Proctor Jr., his brothers and sisters James DeWitt of Syracuse, Tammy (Lester) Douglas of Pleasantdale, Georgett (John) Neeld of Florida, Cathy (Dennis Jr.) Lemner of Poestenkill and Lloyd (Christa) Proctor III of No. Carolina and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral Service Tuesday 10 a.m. at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited and may also call at the funeral chapel on Monday 4-7 p.m.
