Sand Lake- Ralph A. Tufano, 80, of Dahl Way died on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany after a brief illness. Born in Brooklyn, Ralph was the son of the late Felice and Lena Parisio. Ralph was raised in Brooklyn and joined the Army in 1959 and was Honorably Discharged in 1962. Ralph took up the plumbing trade and was a Union Plumber moving to the Capital District area in 1966. In the mid 1970’s Ralph went on his own and formed his own Plumbing Company. Ralph enjoyed painting, cars, loved masonry work and the great outdoors and was a quiet and private man who enjoyed his time with his family. 
Ralph was the father of John (Denise) Tufano of Averill Park, Robert Tufano of East Nassau, Jody (Marie) Tufano of Sand Lake and the late Ralph Tufano Jr., the longtime companion of the late Judy Teal Marchand and brother of the late Anthony “Tony”, Michael and John Tufano. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and his former wife Shirley Betz Tufano.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call 2-5 pm on Sunday, September 19 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 At Glass Lake Averill Park.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 am on Monday September 20, at the Woodlawn Cemetery Burden Lake Road East Schodack.
