West Sand Lake- Regina D. Winnicki, 66, of Rte.150 passed on to our loving Lord on the morning of Thursday, March 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband, family and friends after a brief illness.
Gina was born in Albany on August 13, 1957, daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Audrey Ashley Rarick. Gina was raised and educated in East Greenbush and was a graduate of Columbia High School. After her marriage she had been a resident of Sand Lake for many years.
Gina was a very beautiful person who was friends with everyone she met. Her easy- going personality made all who knew her always feel welcome and at home. She had an infectious smile and laugh which she generously shared.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years Joseph J. Winnicki, her sons Joseph J. (Charlene) Winnicki Jr. and William Winnicki, her granddaughter Natalia Winnicki, her sisters Suzanne Gaylord, Elizabeth (James) Chowenhill and Audrey (Kevin) Hoague, many nieces, nephews and sisters in law. Her lifelong friends Toni (Brett) McIntyre and Nancy (Mark) Taft who gave great comfort to Gina and family during her illness.
Gina was the sister of the late Lawrence (Roberta) Rarick and Lindley (Sandra) Rarick and sister-in-law of the late Gordon Gaylord.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Gina’s life 1pm on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the East Greenbush Firehouse 68 Phillips Road, East Greenbush.
Regina’s family request donations in her memory be made to the East Greenbush Fire Dept. Inc. 68 Phillips Road, Rensselaer, NY 12144.
