Berlin-Richard F. Fearnley,76, a lifelong resident of Rensselaer County, NY, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 26th, 2022 at home with his loving wife at his side.
Richard was born in Troy on October 8th, 1946 son of the late Albert and Grace Follett Fearnley. He was a graduate of Troy High and became a self-employed carpet Installer. Richard loved his trade and continued his passion throughout his life, teaching his sons all he knew. On August 19th,1972 he married Nancy Lashway. He and Nancy welcomed four children, who were the most important part of his life.
Richard is survived by his wife, Nancy, his 6 children, Richard Fearnley Jr., Roger Fearnley, Pattie Madigan, Roland Fearnley, David Fearnley and Jacqueline Stulmaker; fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and his brother Jack. He was the brother of the late Thomas.
Richard was a devoted father an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in the Adirondacks and throughout New York. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 10-12 noon on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake, Averill Park followed by a Celebration of Life from 1-4 pm at 414 West Road, Stephentown
