Averill Park- Robert W. Pierce, 57, of Burden Lake Road, Town of Nassau, died suddenly on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after being stricken at his home. Born in Manhattan, Robert was the son of the late Raymond and Helen Jakubowski Pierce and husband of Darlene Fancher Pierce. Robert was raised in Bayonne, NJ and had resided in different areas of New York for the past 24 years most recently on Burden Lake Road for the past 2 years. Robert was a Furniture Repair Carpenter for different furniture companies including Levitz in New Jersey. He enjoyed the Rock music of his younger years.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his sons Justin (Sarah) Smith of Averill Park and Kevin Pierce of Rochester his daughter Freya (Matthew O’Beirne) Pierce of Scotia, his grandchildren Isabell, Isiah and Elijah, brothers Ronald Pierce, Rodney Pierce Sr. and a sister Robin Pierce all of New Jersey. Robert was brother of the late Raymond Pierce Jr.
