Berlin- Ronald E. Jewett Sr., 79, of Dyken Pond Road, died on Monday, October 17, 2022 at his residence with his family at his side. Born in Cohoes, Ronny was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Leonard Jewett and the beloved husband of Marjorie Teal Jewett. Ronald was a lifelong resident of Berlin and a lifelong diesel mechanic having ran Jewett Automotive and worked for Midland Farms in Menands. Ronald was also a woodsman for most of his life working with his family in the Jewett Logging Business in Berlin.
Ronald was brother of the late H. Kenneth Jewett, Joan Jones and Beverly Hoffman.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children Maurine (Vincent) Fowler, Ronald (Melissa) Jewett Jr. and Marcy (Shane Clyde) Jewett all of Berlin, 8 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 1-3 pm on Sunday, October 23 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake followed by a celebration of Ronald’s life at 3.
