Averill Park- Ryan E. Bielawa, 19, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 after being struck by a motor vehicle in Conway, South Carolina. Ryan was born in Albany and is the beloved son of Edward A. Bielawa and MaryEllen O’Connell Bielawa. He is also survived by his older brother Kevin Bielawa of Averill Park and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Ryan was a lifelong resident of Averill Park. He had attended LaSalle Institute for a year and was a graduate of the Averill Park High School Class of 2015. Ryan was a member of the Varsity Basketball and Soccer teams while in high school. Growing up on Burden Lake, Ryan enjoyed jet skiing, boating and water skiing. He had a passion for investing which brought him to Coastal Carolina University where he was in his sophomore year studying finance. Ryan was currently employed by Merrill Lynch. He had worked delivering for AJ’s Pizzeria and landscape work with Tom Phibbs Landscaping. Ryan was an amazing son, brother and friend. He loved life and looked forward all that life had to offer. He was a positive influence on every person he came in contact with and loved by people of all ages.
Funeral Service Friday 10 a.m. at St. Henry’s Church 39 Old Rte. 66 Averill Park
Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the CHURCH on Thursday 3-7 p.m.
The family suggests donations in memory of Ryan may be made to the Ryan Bielawa Scholarship Fund. Donations can be mailed to Averill Park Central School District, 146 Gettle Rd, Station 1, Averill Park, N.Y. 12018. Please include in the memo section, Ryan Bielawa Memorial Scholarship.
