Halfmoon- Sharon L. Arnold, 64, of D & R Village died suddenly at her residence on Friday, June 9, 2017. Born in Troy, Sharon was the daughter of the late Harold and Eva Southard Arnold Sr. Sharon grew up at Snyders Lake and was a graduate of Columbia High School. She had resided in Troy before moving to Halfmoon 35 years ago. Sharon had been a nurse’s aide at the Van Rensselaer Manor and for a number of years had been a housekeeper for area families. Sharon had a love for animals.
Sharon was the sister of Harold Arnold Jr. of Poestenkill, Bruce L. (Barbara) Arnold of Troy, Linda (Steven) Dzembo of Halfmoon, Darlene Arnold of Troy and the late Diane Wilkinson and Sandra Arnold. Sharon was also survived by her feline friend Buttons and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, a the Brookside Cemetery 280 Plank Road Poestenkill, NY
