New Baltimore- Thomas L. Satterwhite, 78, of Tower Road Ext., died on Monday, January 25, 2021 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, Tom was the son of the late James and Theola Bailey Satterwhite and husband of June Herman Satterwhite.
Tom moved to New York I in the early 1960’s settling in the Albany area. He was a graduate of the LPN Nursing Program at Albany Med and for 12 years was a nurse in the NICU at Albany Medical. Tom then changed careers and went to work for CDTA where he was a Bus Operator retiring in 2006 after 25 years of service. Tom and June had resided in New Baltimore with their daughter since 2015.
Tom was an avid Bowler and had belonged to several different bowling leagues, he was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting and he also enjoyed playing softball and Karaoke.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his daughters Tracy (Darryl) Ford of New Baltimore and Erin Satterwhite of Clifton Park, his sisters Virginia Hoke of Albany, Erma Lee Satterwhite and Lela Satterwhite-Scott, his brother Cloyzell Satterwhite all of Mississippi, 5 grandchildren, 9 greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services private for the family with burial in the Taborton Cemetery, Sand Lake.
